Currently, we are seeking experienced Environmental Services Assistants (Cleaners) & Housekeepers to join our casual pool and be offered weekly shifts. What you will be doing: Maintain exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards within operating theatres Carry out routine cleaning tasks across the hospital or aged care facilities, such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting high-use areas Ensure patient rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and shared spaces consistently meet strict hygiene requirements Monitor, replenish, and organise cleaning supplies and equipment Follow all hospital & aged care guidelines related to infection prevention, safety, and cleanliness Deliver a high level of service and professionalism when interacting with patients, visitors, and staff About you: Previous experience in a cleaning or environmental services role, preferably in a healthcare environment A keen eye for detail and a strong dedication to cleanliness and quality standards Ability to manage time effectively and work well both independently and as part of a team Knowledge of cleaning tools, equipment, and chemical products Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional approach Flexible, adaptable, and reliable work ethic Committed to complying with health, safety, and infection control policies Requirements: Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to interacting with patients and residents. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleaning. Flexibility to travel to and work at various facilities. Willingness to accept shifts on short notice. National Police Check Up-to-date Influenza Vaccination Minimum 2 COVID Vaccinations Basic Food Handlers Certificate if interested in Housekeeping roles.
