The Role We have an exciting opportunity to join our SA Field Sales team as a New Business Territory Manager. This role is responsible for winning new business across designated territories within South Australia, driving distribution and growth across Bega Group’s wide range of product in all categories. As a key member of the Sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and increasing sales through expanded distribution and improved product visibility across the Bega Dairy & Drinks portfolio. You will actively engage with non-trading and lapsed customers across multiple channels, including cafés, restaurants, petrol and convenience outlets, and local trade customers throughout metropolitan Adelaide and surrounding areas. This role may also involve regional travel as part of managing and growing our extensive portfolio. Responsibilities Working with Sales leaders to identify the best offer to convert non stockists Creating an action plan to identify target customers in your region Working with Territory Managers to generate and follow up on warm leads Managing customer on-boarding from account set up to transition Lead the state on the new business strategy, providing insights to the state field sales team on wins About you Strong sales experience with ability to achieve targets, execute priorities within a structured call that overall increase distribution Demonstrated courage and resilience to have constructive and challenging conversations including cold calling Commercial knowledge - understanding market & industry dynamics, utilising volume, rate, and mix targets, pricing strategies Ability to build relationships with customers based on value creation Passionate, Self-Driven with key strengths in planning and follow-up The Bega Story Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
