The role: The Cloud Consultants are delivery focused technology specialists, who are viewed as trusted advisors by clients, they will act as the technical lead on projects, focusing in on cloud solutions often leveraging infrastructure-as-code and cloud native services. This role can be based in any of Brennan's Australian offices - Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane , Canberra, Adelaide or Perth. Key Responsibilities: Customer engagement in a consultative fashion to determine their business/IT objectives, strategy, and roadmap. Working alongside solution sales assisting to develop program / project scopes. Deliver cloud focused projects to expected scope, schedule, budget, project control and quality standards - Based on project budgets, PIR's and customer feedback. Work with the other practices to plan and deliver services, schedules and resource requirements. Provide L4 support for service delivery teams and resolve technical issues. Technical solution design and proposal writing. Ensure service quality through technical competence and attention to detail. Strive for high levels of customer feedback scores. Assisting with the development of collateral and RFP responses designed to demonstrate strong Public Cloud expertise. Preparation of strategies alongside BDMs & AMs, meeting customers to define a new logo & upsell campaign. Working alongside vendors (e.g. Microsoft, AWS) to demonstrate strong Public Cloud expertise. Helping to define and productise market required professional and managed services. Leadership and mentoring of consultants. Recommend, obtain and maintain industry certifications. Attend industry events such as Gartner or Inspire etc. To review, create and maintain internal documentation and processes to help achieve service delivery efficiencies. Any other task/ duties aligned with your role or in support of your team as advised by your leader. What skills and experience you bring: A minimum of AWS Solution Architect Associate, Azure Administrator Associate certification, or demonstrable proficiency to the effect. A minimum of 8 years’ experience as a consultant in a system integrator or similar organization delivering public/private/hybrid cloud or infrastructure solutions. Demonstrable expert technical skills/understanding and experience of Cloud technologies, particularly with respect to Microsoft Azure and AWS hyperscale clouds. Experience in migration readiness assessment, migration planning, and service/workload migration of large/complex environments to either Microsoft Azure or AWS hyperscale cloud. Experience working with/developing solution/product portfolios. Experience developing successful sales solutions and proposals. Expert level on Cloud IaaS, i.e. Azure Virtual Machines or AWS EC2, as well as Cloud storage, i.e. object, disk, file, archive, and hybrid cloud storage solutions. Proficient in the development and maintenance of Azure Resource Manager and/or AWS CloudFormation templates. Design and deployment of complex Cloud connectivity solutions incorporating multiple VNet/VPC, peering, ExpressRoute/DirectConnect, Network Virtual Appliances, Load Balancers, Application Gateways. Demonstrable skills across IDAM solutions such as Azure Active Directory, IAM, MFA, SSO, B2C, B2C. With expert level knowledge in Active Directory Domain Services. Demonstrable skills in Cloud monitoring and governance utilising toolsets such as Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, AWS Organizations, Azure Policy, or Azure Management Groups. Expert level core Windows infrastructure skills. Experience with on-premises virtualization solutions. Strong foundational knowledge of datacentre infrastructure including Storage , Networking, Windows Infrastructure, Linux Infrastructure Any other task/ duties aligned with your role or in support of your team as advised by your leader.
