The Reconciliation Officerâs role is to provide accurate and up to date reconciliation and administration of NTG bank accounts and appropriate internal control over money. They collect, receipt, investigate anomalies and ensure the timely deposit of public money into official government bank accounts. The unit also provides over the counter collection and receipting services via a network of Receiver of Territory Monies offices. Reconciliation officers are required to deliver a high level of service to agencies and external clients in a busy working environment with competing demands.
