About the role: This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands-on experience. Your duties will include but not be limited to: Carry out mechanical maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting, including lathe work, welding, machining, and rebuilds, both independently and as part of a team. Complete preventative, planned, and reactive maintenance, attending production shutdowns, breakdowns, and weekend/on-call duties as required. Accurately record maintenance activities, manage jobs from start to finish, and rotate between Heidelberg and Essendon sites based on operational needs. Follow all safety, quality, and compliance protocols, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance standards. Engage in personal and professional development, uphold company values, seek feedback, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies and procedures. What we're looking for - Skills & Experience Seeking 2nd-year apprentices, open to 1st-year apprentices holding a Pre-Apprenticeship (Certificate II in Engineering).
