Maintenance Fitter - Waikato We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our high-performing engineering team, working across multiple sites in the Waikato region. In this role, you’ll be responsible for mechanical maintenance tasks and occasional fabrication projects, supporting a variety of sites and projects. Description Competitive pay rates based on experience: $35-$40/hr with potential overtime. Workshop and site based. Great team vibe and growth opportunities. What you'll do: Carry out preventive maintenance, inspections, and scheduled servicing. Perform repairs and modifications to machinery and equipment Install and fabricate components on equipment as required. What you need: Minimum of three years’ experience as a mechanical fitter. Experience of working on conveyor systems Hands-on experience servicing and replacing of motors, bearings, shafts, drives & gearboxes. Fabrication and welding experience with Stainless and Carbon Steel would be an advantage.
