We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our Manufacturing team on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Reports to Operations Manager. Description About the Role • Lead and manage end-to-end project execution for new electronic contract manufacturing programs – from prototype builds, production release through delivery to customer within scope and budget whilst remaining on schedule. • Develop, maintain and communicate project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, risk registers and status reports to stakeholders and customers. • Demonstrate strong project management skills, including risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, resource coordination and schedule management. • Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality, supply chain) to ensure readiness, alignment, and seamless execution throughout each project phase. • Facilitate and maintain customer communication, driving clarity in requirements, design-for-manufacturability (DFM/DFT) feedback, specification reviews and issue resolution. • Oversee technical aspects of SMT manufacturing as needed, including stencil design, solder paste selection, pick-and-place programming, reflow profiling, and AOI/X-ray verification, ensuring alignment with project requirements About You • 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering or project engineering role within the electronics or Electronics Manufacturing Services industry. • Experience with SMT equipment and other relevant electronic manufacturing technologies (e.g., DEK/ASM printers, Yamaha / Fuji/Panasonic/Siemens pick-and-place, reflow ovens, AOI, SPI, etc.). • Experience with ERP systems and project management tools.
