We’re looking for capable and experienced Storepersons to join our team, ensuring Defence personnel receive the vital equipment, supplies, and materials they need – when and where they need them. We have a mix of Grade 2 and 3 Storespeople to join our team. This is more than just warehousing. It’s about precision, teamwork, and playing a direct role in supporting Australia’s Defence capability. As a Storeperson, you’ll bring advanced warehousing knowledge and proven skills to support site operations. Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with Team Leaders, you will: Oversee quality control standards across warehouse operations Perform warehousing and stores duties with minimal supervision Operate forklifts, material handling equipment, and Commonwealth vehicles (where licensed) Use warehouse systems to manage complex reporting and stock control Lead and coordinate work for small teams (up to 10 staff) Undertake specialist tasks including stocktake discrepancy investigations, dangerous goods handling, or armoury / secure cage operations (requiring additional security clearances and/or training qualifications) Maintain safety, compliance, and efficiency across all warehouse activities. We’re looking for motivated individuals who bring: Forklift Licence (LF) essential MC or HC Licence - desirable Proven experience in warehousing, logistics, or related industries. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to work independently and keep things moving under pressure To apply for this role, you must: Be an Australian Citizen. Be eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Defence Security Clearance (Baseline level or higher depending on role – NV1/NV2 required for certain tasks).
