About the role As Change Manager within VMIA's Innovation and Projects Office (IPO), you will lead hands-on change management across a dynamic portfolio of innovation and strategic projects that directly support VMIA's strategy. You will work across multiple initiatives, leading the practical application of change through delivery and embedment in a fast-moving environment that values adaptability, curiosity and collaborative relationships. Leading and coaching a small team of Change Analysts, you will remain personally accountable for change outcomes while partnering closely with IPO leadership, project managers, innovation team and senior stakeholders to build confidence in change and deliver practical, high-impact results. Key responsibilities Lead hands-on change management across a portfolio of innovation and strategic projects, from early delivery through to embedment and adoption. Apply established change approaches in practical ways to support delivery, readiness and sustained outcomes. Lead, coach and support a small team of Change Analysts, building capability, consistency and confidence in delivery. Partner closely with project managers and innovation team to understand impacts, risks and stakeholder needs. Provide trusted advice and challenge to leaders and project teams to strengthen change leadership and decision-making. Maintain a portfolio view of change impacts and progress, supporting effective reporting and governance. What we are looking for Proven experience delivering hands-on change management across complex, fast-moving project environments. Demonstrated people leadership capability, with experience coaching and leading a small team while remaining actively involved in delivery. Exceptional interpersonal, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with a strong focus on building trusted relationships. A growth mindset with curiosity, adaptability and comfort working across evolving priorities. Strong outcomes focus, attention to detail and the ability to balance pace with quality. Experience working within innovation-led or evolving environments where pragmatism and delivery matter.
