Reporting initially to the General Manager you will take ownership of the service function and lead a high-performing team of technicians and support staff. You will be responsible for: Managing and mentoring 10 service technicians (with growth planned) Leading recruitment, onboarding, and development of service technicians and apprentices Overseeing service delivery across maintenance, breakdowns, and minor installs Managing service contracts , margins, variations, and charge-ups Ensuring jobs are quoted correctly with appropriate labour and profit margins Driving KPIs including utilisation, gross margin, first-time fix, contract retention, and staff retention Handling escalations, complaints, and key client interactions when required Working closely with account managers, scheduling, operations, and sales Identifying opportunities to bring in additional work and improve efficiencies Leveraging Simpro to its full capability and helping improve processes where possible This role is 90% office-based , with occasional site visits to stay connected with the team and clients. About You You are a proven Service Manager, Senior Supervisor, or Service Supervisor from a commercial HVAC environment who leads by example and enjoys managing people and workloads.
