Role Purpose We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation and delivery of facilities services within a high-profile commercial building in Sydney. This hands-on role is responsible for ensuring building systems, maintenance, safety and presentation standards are consistently met, while delivering a high level of service to occupants and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be highly organised, customer-focused and collaborative, with a strong understanding of facilities management in complex commercial environments. Key Responsibilities Manage daily facilities operations, including inspections, maintenance activities and contractor performance Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring compliance with statutory, safety and operational requirements Maintain accurate asset, compliance and work order records within the FM system Manage site access, inductions, permits to work and emergency preparedness Act as a key point of contact for occupants, responding to service requests in a timely and professional manner Ensure common areas, meeting spaces and operational areas are maintained to a high presentation standard Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications Qualifications in facilities management, building services, engineering, trade background or a related discipline Proven experience delivering facilities management services within commercial, multi-tenanted or complex environments Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, statutory compliance and WHS requirements Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and customer service capability Demonstrated experience coordinating contractors and managing onsite works safely and effectively High level of proficiency with FM systems, digital tools and reporting Current NSW driver license and ability to obtain any required site clearances Desirable Experience in contract-based or government facilities management environments Exposure to managing high-profile or sensitive commercial sites
