POSITION DUTIES Provide support to the Pathology Clinical Trials business unit to manage the review of research protocols, provision of quotations for pathology services for clinical trials, research projects and contract pathology and assistance with co-ordination of services for same Assist with the triaging, data entry and processing of trial specimens Coordinate the maintenance and calibration of Clinical Trials equipment Coordinate processing of shipments for Clinical Trials send out specimens Coordinate frozen sample storage and shipments for trial specimens Provide support with assessment and costing of trials, research projects and contract pathology Support with the liaison with relevant staff at SydPath Clinical Trials regarding jointly performed contract work Support liaison with external stakeholders, including (but not limited to) researchers, study coordinators, pharmaceutical companies, and other external organisations. Provide clinical trials–related troubleshooting support for corporate pathology, Central Specimen Reception (CSR) and Laboratory areas. Support the management of clinical trial specimens Support with the maintenance of the Pathology Clinical Trials intranet and internet sites Maintain appropriate records in accordance with NPACC guidelines and other regulatory and sponsor requirements Support compliance with regulatory requirements, including ISO 15189, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), the National Clinical Trials Governance Framework (NCTGF), SVHM policies, and all applicable regulatory and sponsor requirements.
