We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (Electrical) to join our Sydney site and play a key role in ensuring safe, reliable and high-performing production operations. About the Role You will be responsible for providing effective electrical maintenance support across the site, ensuring minimal downtime, high safety standards, food safety compliance, and continuous improvement of plant and equipment. Key responsibilities include: Preventative and breakdown maintenance of electrical and automation systems Fault finding on production and packaging equipment Ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, BRC and safety standards Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects Completing maintenance tasks in Mex within agreed timeframes Supporting machine operators with basic troubleshooting and training Actively contributing to Zero Harm and food safety culture Success Measures Minimal production downtime On-time completion of preventative maintenance and GMP tasks Zero lost time injuries attributable to plant or equipment Compliance with all safety, food safety and quality standards High service levels to internal stakeholders About You You will bring: Strong safety leadership and commitment to Zero Harm A proactive, solutions-focused mindset Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills The ability to work in a fast-paced FMCG environment Strong communication and teamwork skills A continuous improvement and customer-service focus Essential Qualifications & Experience Trade Qualified Electrical Engineer / Electrician Current NSW Electrical Licence Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance systems Understanding of HACCP, GMP and food safety environments Ability to manage small projects and improvement initiatives Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and WHS legislation Desirable Experience in food manufacturing or processing Experience with CMMS systems (e.g. Mex) PLC and automation exposure Why Join One Harvest?
