Job Description Position Description: The SVE Conversions Electrical Engineer supports the delivery of bespoke vehicle conversion programs for external customers (e.g., fleet and special-purpose applications). The role is primarily inward-facing within engineering organisation, ensuring conversion electrical content is engineered, integrated, validated, and supported through product development system and build ecosystem. Key Roles & Responsibilities: - Electrical Integration & Delivery Support - Electrical Validation Support (Project-Specific / Bespoke) - Issue Resolution & Technical Problem Solving (Electrical Focus) - Build Location & Implementation Support (Plant / Modifier / Dealership) - Documentation, Coordination & Ways of Working Skills Required: - Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work across internal teams and external build/implementation partners. - Practical understanding of vehicle electrical fundamentals (power/ground concepts, wiring/harnessing awareness, electrical integration and troubleshooting). - Organised, hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work with ambiguous project and process definition in a fast-moving environment. Experience Required: - Proficiency with MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint). - Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and system behaviour (DTC interpretation, module interactions, networked systems awareness) to support efficient fault finding. - Experience supporting low-volume builds, conversions, accessories, aftermarket integration, or special vehicle programs. - Familiarity with structured problem solving and quality methods (e.g., 8D thinking, containment and corrective action discipline). Experience Preferred: - CAD exposure is beneficial but not essential.
