We are representing our Client in the recruitment of an Educational Leader based within the Eastern Suburbs As the Educational Leader, you will join a wonderful and established team led by an experienced Centre Director. The service is licensed for 66 children, catering to ages 0–6. The Educational Leader will be responsible for QA1 and for leading curriculum and planning across the service. You will lead and mentor your colleagues in curriculum, planning, programming, and practice. Oversee the planning, implementation and review of the educational program so that children engage in meaningful, age-appropriate experiences. Foster a child-centred learning environment where children’s interests, strengths, needs and voice are acknowledged and built upon. Support and mentor educators to use evidence-based pedagogy that positively impacts children’s outcomes (learning, development, wellbeing). Promote inclusive and respectful practices so that all children feel a strong sense of belonging, are supported in their differences and can fully participate. Aussie Childcare Network Analyse children’s progress, reflect on teaching practices and make adjustments to maximise children’s learning and growth. What You’ll Need Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved) Previous experience in a leadership or senior educator role (preferred) Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and preschool best practices Excellent communication and collaboration skills Current WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Child Protection and Anaphylaxis training Why Join Our Client?
