Relationships Australia Tasmania is seeking a compassionate and skilled Counsellor to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of children, families, individuals, and couples. As a Counsellor at RA Tas, you will provide high-quality, trauma-informed therapeutic support, including family and relationship counselling, grief and loss support, group work, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services, to a diverse range of clients experiencing relationship and life challenges. You will draw on counselling theory and evidence-based interventions to support improved mental health, personal wellbeing, and healthy relationships within a child-safe, values-driven organisation. Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field Proven experience delivering a range of counselling services, including group work Strong understanding of counselling theories and therapeutic interventions Experience working therapeutically with families and children, individuals, and couples Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Benefits Salary starting from $94,414.20 – $107,674.84 Super / *Pro-rata Additional PAID leave days (up to 6 per year!)
