About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and professional part-time Practice Manager to lead the administrative and business functions of our multi-site specialist medical practice. The Practice Manager should have a proven track record of leading an administrative team that may be working remotely, have a basic understanding of the Medicare benefits scheme and processing of inpatient and outpatient billings. They should have experience in dealing with patient enquiries. Ideally, proficiency in medical practice software operations is desired. The ideal candidate should also possess skills in advertising and promotion to build the profile of the clinic. Location & Work Commitment This role coordinates operations for our clinics held across Sydney, the ACT, and Rockhampton. Mandatory Requirement: The successful candidate must be Sydney or lower Central Coast based to be able to attend at least one of four clinics during consulting days: Surry Hills, Wahroonga, Macquarie Park, or Gosford. This position is part-time, requiring attendance for 2 days per week at the hourly rate of up to $40 per hour (based on experience) plus benefits. There is an option for a hybrid working model with work from home arrangements to be negotiated on non-consulting days. Additionally, with growth of the clinic(s), there is potential for progression to a fulltime role. Essential Criteria: • Experience: Previous experience in a management and/or high-level administrative position in a medical practice is required. • Systems Competence: Experience using practice management software (experience with Halaxy and Microsoft office is highly regarded). • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and approachable manner. • Problem Solving: Demonstrated administrative skills and the ability to work independently, exercising initiative and problem-solving abilities. • Compliance Knowledge: Sound understanding of Medicare, DVA, and Workers Compensation billing requirements is essential.
