The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology team at Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Staff Specialist to join their team on a Permanent Full-Time (80 hrs p.f.) or Permanent Part-Time (options available) basis. We are seeking a Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist who is able to manage a generalist workload in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The applicant must be registered or imminently able to become registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Medical Practitioner. Fellowship or eligibility for Fellowship via the substantial comparability pathway of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) and have been assessed as comparable. The applicant must be able to demonstrate recent clinical practice relevant to the scope of this role, consistent with the Medical Board of Australia's registration standards.
