The Site Supervisor is responsible for the correct, timely and profitable execution of the project. It is the Site Supervisor’s responsibility to coordinate labour, tools, equipment and subcontractors from the start to end of the project. This position will have commercial responsibility for successful on-site operations, drive continuous process improvements, and hold overall responsibility for site performance and Health and Safety. Key Responsibilities Conducting daily pre-starts and weekly toolbox with all the crew, communicating any safety alerts, safety campaigns as and when they arise. Overseeing site-based resource including employees and subcontractors. Establishing and reviewing project manning plans and rotation schedules to ensure employees receive adequate rest and roster periods without compromising project staffing levels. Managing employee performance and personnel issues such as absence, appraisal, pay etc. Skills and Behaviours Committed to safety, high performance standards and delivering the best solutions for our business and client . Highly developed written, verbal communication skills coupled with a collaborative approach toward dispute resolution and negotiation. Excellent people management and leadership skills. Highly skilled interface management skills and the demonstrated ability to successfully manage all site - based matters. Highly organised and thrive in a busy and ever-changing environment. Attention to detail and ability to prioritise to meet deadlines. Pro-active attitude to issues. Commercial Acumen. Computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel. Relevant Experience Minimum 5-10 years’ experience as a Site Manager or high level of industry experience in a supervisory role. Solid knowledge and experience in working in compliance with OH&S Legislation. Extensive experience leading large projects, previous exposure to Mining would be highly desirable.
