Role Description This is a part-time or full-time, on-site position for a Registered Nurse at NEST Family Clinic, located in Elsternwick, VIC. The Registered Nurse will provide patient-centered care by conducting assessments, administering immunisations, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans. Additional responsibilities include educating patients and families about health conditions, managing medical records, and ensuring compliance with clinical protocols. The nurse will also assist in minor medical procedures and maintain a safe, supportive healthcare environment for patients and staff. Qualifications Strong clinical nursing skills, including assessments, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and wound care. Excellent communication and patient education skills, with the ability to empathize and effectively communicate with patients and their families. Proficiency in maintaining medical records and ensuring documentation accuracy, as well as understanding relevant healthcare protocols and standards. Organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic healthcare environment while prioritizing patient safety and care quality. Valid Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Experience working in a general practice or family clinic setting is desirable but not required. Ability to follow all healthcare safety standards and maintain a professional demeanor.
