We are currently seeking a skilled and team-focused Chef to join our kitchen team. About the Role This is a hands-on position in a busy hotel kitchen, ideal for a chef who enjoys working as part of a team, delivering consistent food quality and supporting smooth kitchen operations. Key Duties & Responsibilities Prepare, cook and present menu items to a high standard Ensure consistency in taste, portion control and presentation Work effectively as part of a team during busy service periods Assist with daily food preparation, cooking and plating Follow recipes and kitchen procedures accurately Maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene Assist with menu planning and daily/weekly specials Monitor food quality at all stages of preparation and service Assist in stock control, ordering and receiving of goods Minimise food wastage and maintain cost control Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and WHS standards Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment Support and assist other kitchen staff when required About You Trade-qualified Chef or equivalent experience Experience working in a busy hotel or restaurant kitchen Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to work under pressure and meet service deadlines Good time management and organisation skills Passion for food quality and presentation If you enjoy working in a team-focused kitchen and want to be part of a well-known hotel group, we would love to hear from you.
