Bayside Health Alfred Care Group is seeking a Locum Diagnostic Radiologist to join the team for a 3-month appointment commencing February 2026. This is a 1.0 FTE Staff Specialist role, working: 4 days per week 9.5 hours per day Participation in an on-call roster Staff currently holding fractional appointments are welcome to apply and may increase their sessions. The Interventional Radiology (IR) service provides care across a broad range of clinical complexity and acuity, including: Inpatient ward rounds Admitting rights IR outpatient clinics Tertiary-level multidisciplinary care Applicants must: Be a legally qualified medical practitioner Be registered or eligible for registration with AHPRA Hold Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) Demonstrate the ability to report across multiple imaging modalities Be experienced in managing complex clinical cases within a tertiary academic centre Work within a major academic tertiary health service Join a newly formed, progressive statewide network Exposure to complex, high-acuity diagnostic and interventional cases Strong commitment to education, research, and training * Collegial, multidisciplinary team environment Interested candidates are encouraged to apply early.
