About the Role This position centres on the design and advancement of high-performance signal recognition and interference algorithms using software-defined radios (SDRs). A key aspect involves translating complex digital signal processing (DSP) methods into stable, production-ready embedded firmware. Apply deep technical expertise in RF systems, FPGA and ARM-based development, digital signal processing, hardware integration, and communication technologies. Lead the end-to-end process of researching, designing, developing, and deploying embedded software solutions for real-time signal processing across broad frequency ranges. Analyse and decode a variety of transmission protocols—both proprietary and open standards—to enable accurate data extraction and interpretation. Continuously refine core system components to enhance detection precision, operational performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability. About You Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience. 7 years of professional experience in a collaborative engineering environment. Proficient in hardware description languages such as Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog. Strong background in FPGA development using tools like Vivado (preferred), Quartus, Vitis, or similar platforms. Experience building and maintaining automated verification and validation systems. Skilled in writing C/C++ firmware for FPGA-based systems, with additional experience in scripting languages (Python preferred).
