Smith & Co – Labour Hire & Recruitment Specialists About the Role Smith & Co is currently seeking skilled Water Truck Drivers (HR licence or above) to support a range of Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 civil contractors across Brisbane and surrounding areas. These roles are offered on a casual basis, with consistent hours and the potential to transition into permanent employment after a successful trial period. In this role, you will be responsible for operating modern water trucks to assist with dust suppression, site preparation, and general civil works. A strong focus on safe operation, site awareness, and teamwork is essential. Job Details Pay: $43 per hour penalties travel and meal allowances Shifts: Day shifts commencing from 6:30am, working 8–12 hours per day Projects: Subdivisions, roadworks, TMR infrastructure, land rehabilitation Locations: Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich What We’re Looking For Demonstrated experience operating water trucks across civil, roadworks, or earthworks projects HR licence or higher Stand Pipe ticket advantageous but not essential RII machinery tickets advantageous but not essential Current White Card Physically capable and willing to assist with general site duties when required Reliable, punctual, and available for Monday–Friday work Strong commitment to workplace health and safety Why Choose Smith & Co?
