We are looking for a kind and compassionate Croatian‑speaking volunteer to spend time with an elderly woman who is still living comfortably in her own home and receiving care. She finds comfort in familiar language, gentle company, and the simple joy of sharing moments with someone who understands her cultural background. Your visits might include chatting in Croatian, reading aloud, watching a favourite TV program together (she’s a big fan of reality TV!), or simply listening to music in a relaxed and unhurried way. What matters most is your presence — offering friendship, reassurance, and the warmth of genuine connection. This role is perfect for someone patient, warm, and willing to give a small amount of their time each week to brighten the life of an older person. No special skills are required — just empathy, reliability, and a heartfelt desire to share companionship with someone who will truly appreciate it
