What You’ll Be Doing Working from our Campbelltown facility, you will focus on delivering high-quality service and repairs with a priority on safety and efficiency. Your key responsibilities include: Expert Repairs: Service, repair, and recondition trailer equipment, including brakes, suspensions, axles, air systems, and electrical components. Technical Tasks: Perform allocated mechanical tasks on trailers and heavy transport equipment. Quality Control: Ensure all tasks meet strict quality and safety standards while following established SOPs. Precision Documentation: Accurately record materials, complete task documentation, and support WIP close-out using company systems. Safety Leadership: Maintain a clean workspace, complete risk assessments, and report all incidents or near misses. Collaboration: Lead by example, assisting teammates and collaborating with service and sales teams. About You You are a qualified mechanic who takes pride in quality workmanship and "doing the job right the first time". Your Skills & Experience: Trade Qualified: Trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle or Trailer Mechanics (or equivalent). Technical Expertise: Proven experience in heavy vehicle, transport, or commercial plant maintenance. Specialist Knowledge: Expertise in trailer brakes, air systems, and general heavy vehicle repairs.
