The Role We are seeking experienced Cotton Irrigators / Tractor Operators to join a busy broadacre cotton operation in Goondiwindi, QLD. This role sits within the agriculture industry, working in an outdoor, physical farm environment as part of a small, practical team focused on productivity, safety, and efficiency. You'll be involved in irrigation and machinery operations critical to the cotton growing cycle, with varied day-to-day tasks and long hours during peak periods. Key Responsibilities In this hands-on farm role, you will support daily cotton production activities and irrigation operations to ensure smooth and timely farm outcomes. Duties include: Irrigating cotton crops using siphons Operating tractors and farm machinery Driving a manual ute around the farm Assisting with general farm duties as reasonably requested Following safety procedures and work instructions at all times Benefits $30-$35 per hour flat rate, based on experience 2-3-month role with potential ongoing opportunities 40-60 hours per week (average 50 hours per week) Work in a well-established cotton farming operation Gain valuable experience in large-scale broadacre agriculture Clear safety systems, inductions, and PPE requirements Your Skills & Experience Previous cotton irrigation experience preferred Confident tractor and farm machinery operation Ability to drive a manual vehicle (manual licence preferred) Current car driver's licence and own reliable transport Comfortable working long hours in outdoor conditions Strong focus on safety, teamwork, and reliability Choose Agri Labour Australia Agri Labour Australia is an award-winning Australian company with clients in every State and Territory.
