Role Description This is a contract on-site role for a Registered Psychologist, located in Cranbourne, VIC. The role involves providing evidence-based individual therapy to clients across various age groups and backgrounds, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Key responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, creating tailored treatment plans, and providing counseling for mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional regulation. The psychologist will work collaboratively with clients to support personal growth and address specific needs, while maintaining up-to-date case records and coordinating with other professionals as necessary. Qualifications Strong foundation in Psychology and Mental Health concepts with a focus on evidence-based therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, EMDR, ACT, Schema Therapy). Competency in Counseling and Psychological Assessment to support a diverse range of clients across different age groups. A current registration as a psychologist with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills. Experience working with neurodevelopmental or neuropsychological assessments is an advantage. Ability to provide culturally sensitive care, with multilingual abilities considered a plus. Familiarity with supporting clients under NDIS, Work Cover, and TAC services is desirable.
