An environment that embraces learning and development. The Role Reporting to the Head of Cloud, this position is responsible for leading the Cloud and Infrastructure teams. The Cloud Projects Practice lead is a critical role as technical owner for customer outcomes, best practices and team performance. This role has direct Team Lead and/or Project Consultant report accountability. While this is a leadership position, the role requires a hands-on technical understanding of Cloud & Infrastructure principles and will include a portion of billable work delivering your own design, configuration and consulting work as required. The role will also require strong technical mentorship as you will be accountable for the technical delivery of not only your own work but for your practice. Your team of Cloud & Infrastructure Consultants will be involved in delivering projects based on the relevant platform. This will include developing components, peer reviewing code and contributing to the Intellectual Property library. This role can be based in any of major Brennan's Australian offices - Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and other locations will be considered including Canberra or Newcastle. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to : - Work with the Project Managers to define and plan project delivery, schedules, and resource requirements Technical delivery of projects by the most efficient means possible Ensure that projects are delivered as per the implementation methodology Work with the Head of Cloud to ensure all billable hour targets are met for your team Strive for high client satisfaction scores Ensure all work performed is of a high technical and quality standard Promote Brennan products and services creating new business opportunities. Perform any other task required to fulfil this role Customer Engagement & Commercial Development Participate in the presales process accessing the clients’ needs Technical solution design and proposal writing Manage a team of highly skilled resources to deliver strong outcomes for our clients. Develop and mentor junior resources. Grow the Cloud Projects practice through a combination of strategic onshore hires supported by an offshore engine room. Support the digital and pre-sales practices for Cloud Project opportunities. Support the development of estimates and proposals. Skills you will bring : - Minimum 10 years IT technical experience, with extensive experience in Azure and other cloud and infrastructure tech Minimum 2 years experience as Team or technical lead or have proven supervisory experience and are ready to step up! Results-oriented and driven by achieving growth Ability to develop a practice development plan and own the execution of the initiatives Extensive experience of the broader technology ecosystem, common approaches to managing technology, modern technology concepts and expertise in at least one focused area of practice. End-to-end engagement lifecycle management experience, from pre-sales and account management activities to billing. Strong experience in successfully leading engagements that have produced positive and tangible business outcomes. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to develop, lead and facilitate stakeholder workshops to identify problems and develop solutions using contemporary approaches. Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate and build confidence at every level of an organisation. A strong client focus and a strength in taking ownership to proactively monitor customer satisfaction while negotiating mutually beneficial outcomes. Highly developed conceptual, analytic, and system thinking skills. High level of organisation and time management to enable you to prioritise effectively and to successfully deliver multiple client engagements concurrently.
