This is a hands-on, multi-site coaching role based in our cafés (not head office). You’ll work alongside Café Managers to strengthen day-to-day operations, lift capability, and bring consistency to how we operate, store to store. You’ll partner closely with the Executive Manager Stores on priorities, follow-through and continuous improvement. This role is about enabling strong performance and consistency — not stepping in as the Café Manager. A key focus is standardisation: ensuring initiatives are implemented consistently and standards are embedded across all stores. Key responsibilities Coach and support Café Managers across all key areas of café operations (service, quality, presentation, routines, safety and compliance) Drive consistent customer experience standards — the unmistakable Miss Maud experience in every café Support commercial performance: sales, labour planning, rostering and food cost control Provide practical in-store guidance on people leadership, training, staffing levels and capability-building Embedding 2 Second Lean and continuous improvement — simplifying routines, strengthening consistency, and helping teams improve outcomes Use systems and reporting to track results, strengthen accountability, and maintain consistency About you You’re an experienced hospitality leader who thrives on being hands-on across multiple sites. You balance people leadership with commercial outcomes, and you know how to coach managers to lift standards without needing constant supervision.
