Siena College is seeking to appoint a Flute Teacher to teach private and small group lessons. This casual position commences in Term 1, 2026. The current enrolment projection is approximately 7 hours per week, depending on new enrolments and applicant availability. Working within the Siena College Music Department, the Flute Teacher will be part of a team of instrumental specialists. The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate their ability to: teach junior and intermediate flute students through to VCE Music develop students’ musical understanding through the study of repertoire inspire students’ long-term participation in our instrumental and ensemble programs prepare students for solo and small group performance opportunities assist with basic instrument maintenance and record-keeping assist with various concerts and events throughout the year VIT Teacher Registration or a Working with Children Check and National Police check are required before commencing the position.
