Honeywell Australia is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Solution Consultant with extensive knowledge of design principles and international standards in CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and perimeter security. In this role, you will partner with clients to enhance their building automation and physical security systems, ensuring they are efficient and secure. Key Responsibilities: Physical Security Expertise: Understand and apply principles of CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and perimeter security. ICT and Security Technologies: experience in design and manage networked security devices, deploy security solutions over various ICT infrastructures. Surveillance Systems: Expert in design advanced video surveillance, analytics, facial recognition, and motion detection design CCTV systems for large-scale projects, considering factors such as coverage area, camera placement, and data storage requirements. Access Control Systems: design ACS, Proficient in biometric systems, smart cards, multi-factor authentication, and system integration. Intrusion Detection Systems: design IDS with Knowledgeable in sensor-based, seismic, and radar-based perimeter protection, and system configuration. Public Address and Emergency Communication: design PAS for effective communication during crises. Security Screening and Scanning: Understand X-ray machines, metal detectors, and explosive trace detection systems. Vehicle Security: Design and implement measures like bollards, and gate controls. Implement Honeywell's environmental policies and procedures, minimise resource waste, and actively participate in initiatives that reduce environmental impact. Key Experience & Capabilities: Bachelor's degree in engineering. Proven experience in designing and implementing Physical security solutions. Deep understanding of Physical security solutions and their integration with BMS/ PSIM. Strong technical acumen with the ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proven track record in the same industry Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Project management experience is a plus. Ability to travel as needed for client engagements.
