Do you nerd out with compliance? Are you experienced or interested in learning about risk? Alice Springs Town Council is looking for a Corporate Governance Officer to join ASTC’s Governance Unit. In this multi-faceted role, you’ll help develop and embed governance and risk frameworks, coordinate policy development and reviews, and help build ASTC's internal governance capability. You’ll be part of a team that values integrity, transparency and helping others succeed. You’ll have a strong ability to interpret legislation and provide governance advice. Known for your discretion and professionalism, you handle sensitive information with integrity. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in writing and/or reviewing policies. Highly organised and analytical, you manage competing priorities effectively and provide strategic, evidence-based advice. You also excel at building strong stakeholder relationships, and have the ability to quickly learn new things.
