About the role Parkwood Green Medical Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Nurse to join our team in Romsey, Victoria on a part-time basis. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting our medical practitioners and providing high-quality care to our patients. What you'll be doing Assisting doctors during consultations and procedures Conducting patient assessments, taking vital signs, and administering medications and immunisations Coordinating and managing chronic disease management programs Providing health education and promotion to patients Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with medical regulations Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver integrated patient care Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the overall efficiency of the practice What we're looking for Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Practice Nurse or in a similar role within a primary healthcare setting Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practice Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team Proficient in using medical software and electronic patient records Commitment to continuous learning and professional development Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Cannulation and Iron infusion experience What we offer At Parkwood Green Medical Pty Ltd, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters professional growth and work-life balance.
