About the Role The Student Events and Engagement Coordinator manages programs to build a connected student community both online and in person. By working closely with student ambassadors and on-campus teams, the role ensures the successful delivery of the annual engagement calendar and major milestones like Orientation and Graduation. Beyond event logistics, the role focuses on inclusive communication through newsletters and social media. The coordinator is responsible for creating targeted content that supports diverse groups—including Indigenous, LGBTQIA, and culturally diverse students—to ensure the wider student body feels represented and engaged. Key Responsibilities Events Assist in planning and delivery of events and engagement activities and projects across all campuses. Assist in planning and delivery of annual Graduation ceremonies. Support on-campus Student Experience teams with the planning and delivery of Orientation. Monitor and report on event participation. In partnership with Marketing, assist in the development of promotional material including website updates, newsletters, socials and printed collateral. Engagement Develop engaging, timely and relevant content to support the 2026-2028 Student Engagement Plan, leveraging new and existing communication channels such as student hub, publications and social media. Collaborate with student ambassadors to promote an authentic student voice and facilitate the communication of their ideas and the needs of the wider student population. Monitor and report on engagement success through surveys, participation tracking student feedback. Provide feedback regarding potential improvements in systems, processes, and services. Education, Experience & Skills Qualification in relevant field, undergraduate or equivalent Minimum 2 years' experience in events, community management or student administration. Demonstrated experience in the successful delivery of events and projects Working knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Discord) and other communication channels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office365 Positive attitude and ability to think creatively and bring innovation to EDU and its subsidiaries Cross cultural awareness Excellent written and oral communication Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously and in a team Why Join us?
