A Social Visits Volunteer Who Can Make a Meaningful Difference – One Visit at a Time We’re looking for a bright‑spirited, kind‑hearted volunteer to visit a lovely elderly lady who could really use a friendly face and some cheerful company. She would love someone who can chat with her in Croatian or Serbian, helping her reconnect with the language and culture that feel like home — though she understands some English too. Your visit could be the highlight of her week. A cosy cuppa, a shared laugh, a story from the past, or a warm conversation in her own language can bring joy, comfort, and a spark of fun to her day. Your time and kindness can make a beautiful difference. Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the client you are matched with. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxFDDi9bS6c HammondCare HammondCare is an independent Christian charity, supporting people to live in their homes and maintain their independence.
