We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team and contribute to delivering professional finishes on our projects. Key Responsibilities Surface Preparation: Scrape, sand, clean, and prime walls, ceilings, and other surfaces. Fill cracks, holes, and joints to ensure smooth finishes. Color & Material Management: Mix and match paints accurately, calculate material requirements, and select appropriate tools such as brushes, rollers, and sprayers. Application: Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and sealants evenly and professionally. Hang wallpaper and accurately match patterns when required. Protection: Protect furniture, floors, and fixtures using drop cloths or plastic coverings to prevent damage or spills. Safety & Cleanup: Safely erect and use ladders and scaffolding, follow all workplace health and safety regulations, and clean tools and work areas thoroughly after completion. Client Interaction: Communicate with clients regarding color choices, project requirements, and timelines to ensure customer satisfaction. Skills & Requirements Attention to Detail: Ability to produce neat lines, consistent finishes, and accurate color matching. Physical Stamina & Strength: Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, and in various positions. Time Management: Ability to complete tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines. Knowledge: Strong understanding of paints, materials, safety standards, and application techniques. Tools: Proficiency using brushes, rollers, spray guns, putty knives, sanders, and related equipment. Experience: Previous painting experience preferred (trade qualification is an advantage but not essential).
