As our highly valued Lead Satellite Cardiac Sonographer (Specialist Cardiac Physiologist), you’ll use your echocardiography skills and expertise to deliver echocardiography services in a range of clinical settings throughout metro and regional NSW (and ACT), and provide quality care to patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. Our echocardiography services include community, outpatient & inpatient transthoracic echocardiography, exercise stress echocardiography, dobutamine stress echocardiography and assisting with transoesophageal echocardiography studies. The primary responsibility of this role is the day to day delivery of quality echocardiography services, however this position also has a business development component, and working with the NSW Clinical Services Manager and National Non-Invasive Testing team, you will help grow non-invasive testing services across NSW. You’ll make a meaningful impact by: Operate cardiac ultrasound and testing equipment to obtain optimal images and support medical diagnoses. Interpret and process requests for cardiac procedures, ensuring accurate patient identification and history review. Document patient conditions, including pathology characteristics, and deliver high-quality patient care and customer service. Build strong relationships with referrers, addressing their needs promptly and explaining procedures clearly to patients. Collaborate with Cardiologists and staff to uphold quality standards, safety, and compliance with industry regulations. Build productive and effective working relationships with Satellite partners, and help identify business opportunities within NSW and ACT. Be mobile and helping grow and deliver services where there is demand and where services are needed. Contribute to raising the profile of Advara HeartCare by developing and maintaining key industry and regional satellite relationships. What you’ll bring To succeed in this role, you will have: You have a post graduate qualification in the field of cardiac ultrasound A current registration with Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) You possess sound clinical skills in the field of echocardiography Excellent interpersonal & patient care skills with the ability to show a friendly and professional approach You are committed to continuous learning and staying at the forefront of developments in cardiac ultrasound techniques. Current Australian Driver’s License and ability to work across Sydney and greater NSW as required. We would also love you to have: A mindset of collaboration and continual learning.
