Clubhouse Manager Full-Time | Northern Beaches, Sydney An established private members' club on Sydney's Northern Beaches is seeking an experienced Clubhouse Manager to lead its hospitality, events, and accommodation operations. Reporting to the General Manager, this is a senior, hands-on leadership role overseeing the day-to-day performance of the clubhouse, food and beverage outlets, functions, and an on-site lodge. The role has evolved beyond traditional F&B management into a holistic venue leadership position, requiring structure, finesse, and the ability to execute ideas end-to-end. The Role You will be responsible for: Leading all clubhouse operations including food & beverage, events, lodge accommodation, and venue presentation Managing, coaching, and developing a front-of-house team of up to 20 staff Driving revenue, profitability, and service standards across hospitality and accommodation Improving lodge performance, occupancy, and guest experience from arrival to departure Overseeing rostering, budgeting, purchasing, reporting, and cost control Working closely with the Executive Chef to refine food and beverage offerings Curating and elevating the wine program, with a strong focus on member engagement and upselling Delivering high-quality weddings, corporate events, and private functions Maintaining compliance across WHS, food safety, hygiene, and licensing Building strong supplier relationships and negotiating contracts Engaging proactively with members and guests to enhance satisfaction and loyalty About You You will bring: 5 years' experience in senior hospitality, venue, hotel, or club management Strong operational knowledge across F&B, events, and accommodation A proven ability to lead, train, and uplift large FOH teams and culture High attention to detail with a passion for premium service delivery Sound financial acumen with experience managing budgets and costs Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with members A genuine interest in food and wine (WSET Level 3-4 highly regarded) Relevant hospitality or business qualifications Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required The Venue The club is a long-established, private members' venue offering a premium yet understated environment with strong member loyalty. Facilities include multiple meeting rooms, a large function space, high-volume events trade, and a recently renovated 8-room lodge operating as an executive retreat, with plans for future expansion.
