TRACQS is a leading Community Development Program (CDP) provider that delivers quality pre and post-employment and training services to both Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians across the Western Tablelands of Far North Queensland. As part of the TRACQS team, you will engage with and empower individuals to achieve sustainable employment by: Provide quality Employment Placement Support (EPS) to our participants placed into employment. Coach/Mentor job seekers to stay in employment for 52 weeks Ensure all required information is accurately recorded within the relevant databases Adhere to the TRACQS procedures and policies & NIAA’s Guidelines. Support to establish TRACQS as the provider of choice throughout the Region Contact employers directly using both existing databases and via cold calling to create vacancies and employment opportunities for job seekers. Meet with job seekers when attending their monthly appointments to promote vacancies Who are you? Skills and experience we are looking for include: Previous experience in working with Job Seekers & Indigenous communities will be highly regarded Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander protocol and culture. Knowledge of the local area labour market Experience in Sales and Marketing would be highly regarded. Technology literate, including sound skills in using Windows-based software, Internet, and Email. Highly effective, well-organised administration and record keeping skills Ability to manage time, set priorities and achieve outcomes in a demanding environment Current driver's licence. A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements prior to commencement of employment.
