About the role We are seeking an experienced Product Delivery Senior Consultant to join our Overseas Visitors Health Cover (OVHC) project during a critical delivery and execution phase. Joining a project already underway, you will apply your deep knowledge of the Australian private health insurance landscape to validate existing high-level requirements and translate them into detailed, executable business processes. While the role operates at the intersection of Product Management and Business Analysis, the primary focus is on business readiness rather than technology delivery. You will ensure the product is compliant, commercially viable, and operationally ready for launch. Working closely with Stream Leads across Operations, Marketing, and IT, you will act as a key conduit between strategic objectives and operational execution, translating product rules and functional requirements into clear, practical guidance for teams responsible for selling, servicing, and administering the product. Key Responsibilities: Translate Strategy into Execution - Support the development of detailed business requirements, fund rules, and policy documentation required for a successful product launch. Ensure Operational Readiness - Map and define end-to-end business processes from customer onboarding through to claims processing to ensure the organisation is ready to transact. Provide Subject Matter Expertise - Offer specialist OVHC insights, including visa compliance requirements (e.g. Condition 8501), competitor analysis, and Australian Private Health Insurance (PHI) regulatory considerations to inform project decisions. Support Delivery and Transition to BAU - Provide guidance to project streams to support successful delivery and assist with transition into business-as-usual operations. To be successful in this role, you will have: Relevant tertiary qualifications in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, actuarial studies, finance, or engineering. Demonstrated experience within the Australian Private Health Insurance sector, with specific exposure to Overseas Visitors Health Cover. Strong experience in Business Analysis or Product Delivery within a project environment, with a focus on business implementation.
