You’ll work within a cross‑functional squad alongside Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Tech Leads, Engineers, and fellow QA Engineers, helping to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and user experience. Key Responsibilities Act as the QA Engineer within a cross‑functional product delivery squad Participate in stand‑ups, planning, reviews, and retros, contributing to acceptance criteria and test scenarios Ensure sprint tickets meet QA standards and quality guidelines Build, maintain, and execute automated tests using Cypress Cucumber (BDD) Perform functional, exploratory, cross‑browser, and UAT testing Record defects with clear technical detail and evidence, providing regular updates to the team Identify opportunities for quality improvements and support their implementation Ensure all solutions are robust, reliable, and fully tested before release Maintain QA reporting and contribute to knowledge‑sharing across Tes Engineering Support and mentor team members where needed What You Will Bring Experience 2 years as a QA Engineer Strong hands‑on experience with Cypress automation Experience writing BDD scenarios using Gherkin Experience with functional, exploratory, cross‑browser, and UAT testing Basic coding/scripting skills (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) Experience testing APIs and Web Services (Postman, Swagger) Experience using Xray and JIRA Understanding of CI/CD testing practices Experience contributing to Three Amigos sessions Knowledge & Tools Agile Scrum methodology Cypress with Cucumber JavaScript fundamentals Xray test management JIRA Postman GitLab/GitHub CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) Skills Ability to review user requirements and provide clear feedback Strong test planning and test case writing Skilled in functional, exploratory, cross‑browser, and UAT testing Strong automation skills with Cypress Cucumber API testing using Postman Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving abilities Pragmatic, empathetic, and able to influence both technical and non‑technical stakeholders Why Tes Our intuitive technology streamlines complex tasks, enhances learning experiences, and alleviates the administrative burdens that often overwhelm schools.
