My client is hiring an experienced Account Manager to service a portfolio of insurance accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service for both existing and new clients. This role also involves working strategically with Account Executives to drive new business opportunities and branch growth. Key Responsibilities Financial Performance & Growth Drive new business and contribute to portfolio growth. Implement initiatives to maximise account profitability. Achieve revenue and profit targets. Customer & Stakeholder Management Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients. Develop and maintain relationships with insurers and service providers. Mentor and train Assistant Account Executives / Entry-Level Brokers. Collaborate on renewal and broking strategies to protect client interests. Respond promptly to client enquiries and resolve issues effectively. Identify cross-selling opportunities and promote additional products/services. Escalate issues appropriately when required. Process & Compliance Gather client information for renewal documentation and reporting. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards. Manage debtors and monitor account performance. Stay informed on industry trends through meetings and training. Identify and recommend process improvements. Environment, Health & Safety Comply with EH&S policies and procedures. Assess risks and take corrective actions where necessary. Participate in EH&S training and support organisational safety goals. Skills & Experience Proven experience in general insurance broking in a similar role. Strong ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Demonstrated success in meeting targets and KPIs. Resilient, proactive, and able to work under pressure. Proficient in Microsoft Office and insurance systems. Education & Qualifications Diploma of Insurance Broking (FNS51215) or equivalent. Certificate in Financial Services (NZQA Level 5) or current registration on the FSPR.
