One‑on‑One Chairside Music Visits Share the joy of music by playing one‑on‑one, chairside for residents who would truly appreciate a warm, personal musical moment. Whether you play guitar, keyboard, ukulele, or another portable instrument, your music can spark memories, lift spirits, and create meaningful connection. Even better, you can involve the resident in the music — inviting them to hum along, tap their hands, choose a favourite song, or simply enjoy the rhythm with you. These small interactions can be incredibly uplifting and empowering. You’ll spend a few minutes with each resident, offering a calming, engaging, and joy‑filled experience right at their bedside or chair side. A simple song shared together can make a beautiful difference. Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxFDDi9bS6c HammondCare HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need.
