Job Description We are excited to welcome applications for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our supportive team in Narangba, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager. This role is key in ensuring warehousing, forklift, inventory management and replenishment activities are carried out to Ridley’s high standards, while helping optimise our operations in a collaborative and people-focused way. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading others (2 direct reports), improving processes, and contributing to a positive team culture. This role suits someone with the need for a set shift roster, working 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday, with afternoon shift allowance payable. Key Responsibilities Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to assess operational needs and provide thoughtful recommendations Supporting the delivery of daily, weekly and monthly warehousing requirements to meet team and business goals Coaching, guiding and developing team members to help them succeed in their roles Helping foster a safe, respectful and inclusive working environment by modelling Ridley values and supporting consistent standards Ensuring accuracy in warehouse transfers, documentation and logistics processes Identifying and resolving inventory or distribution issues in a practical and solutions-focused manner Working closely with Quality Control to address quality issues and follow procedures that protect product integrity Using sound judgement to respond to emergencies, environmental risks and other unexpected situations Skills and Experience We're looking for someone who brings a mix of technical capability and people-centred leadership, including: Competence in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy Demonstrated experience in warehousing or storeperson leadership Current high-risk LF forklift licence Minimum 1 year double deep reach forklift experience Minimum 3 years of forklift operating experience in a fast-paced warehouse Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels High attention to detail and a commitment to safe, high-quality work A supportive and inclusive leadership style, with the ability to motivate and empower others Adaptability and composure in a fast-paced, evolving environment Prior learning in safety, quality, first aid or improved arrangements would be desirable Proficiency in WMS/ERP systems (e.g., D365) advantageous How to Apply If you’re a proactive and detail-oriented individual looking to support a dynamic warehousing environment, we’d love to hear from you.
