Job Description The Role: What You’ll Do We’re looking for warm, reliable, and resilient support workers to be there for young people in our care—especially those with complex physical or mental health needs. You’ll be doing things like: Supporting kids and teens with daily routines, from self-care to school to fun activities Helping create and follow personalised care plans that fit each young person’s unique needs Creating a positive, calm, and respectful home environment Building strong, trusting relationships—being someone they can count on Keeping clear records of what happens each day Using your calm approach (and maybe a little humour) to handle challenging moments with care Encouraging young people to get involved in their communities and feel part of something bigger Some days will be challenging. Others will be deeply rewarding. But every day, you’ll be doing something that matters. Desired Skills and Experience Who You Are o We’re looking for people who: Have a big heart and a steady head Are patient, reliable, and genuinely care about making a difference Understand how trauma or disability can affect young lives Want to be part of a team that supports each other through the tough stuff Can work flexible hours (days, nights, weekends) Must-haves: Certificate IV in Disability Support, Youth Work, or a related field (or studying towards it) Paid Blue Card NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card) Driver’s licence Unrestricted working rights in Australia LCS2 (or the willingness to get it) Current First Aid certification Current CPR certification Why Work With Us?
