Sensory Serenity Volunteer – Create Moments of Calm Step into a gentle, dream‑like space where you can help residents with dementia unwind, relax, and feel deeply cared for. This role is perfect for someone with a soothing presence, a creative spirit, or a therapist’s touch. You’ll transform a room into a sensory sanctuary — soft lighting, an aroma diffuser releasing calming scents, peaceful music floating through the air, and your warm hands offering slow, comforting hand massages. Your presence helps residents feel grounded, safe, and serene, turning an ordinary moment into something beautifully restorative. This is a role for someone who loves creating an atmosphere, nurturing calm, and bringing a little magic into someone’s day. Your impact While the main tasks are maintenance related, you will have the opportunity to connect with our residents, providing meaning and purpose to your role. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxFDDi9bS6c HammondCare HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need.
