Kitchen Hand & Assistant Working under supervision of other employees this role is to clean general areas, equipment and assisting other kitchen employees when required. Such as to assist in the preparation and correct storage of food as per operational needs and standards set by the executive chef. Help front of house as required including cleaning tables & serving customers. Skills & Experience Some previous experience within the same or similar role. Skills & Experience 1 Years previous experience within the same or similar role. Chef (Section & Venue) Oversee and coordinate the activities of all kitchen employees. Work with the Head Chef and Executive Chef to facilitate the effective and safe operation of the Kitchen Department and Oversee the production and quality of food within your station. Prepare food to the standards set by the Executive Chef. During service ensure that the food quality yourself and the team serve meets the standard required. Assist the Kitchen Hands and Kitchen Assistants to ensure their daily tasks are completed as required. Skills & Experience Being able to adapt to different cooking styles. Experience in a commercial cooking environment. Knowledge and understanding of Food Safety. Cert III Commercial Cooking and Trade papers. Safe Food Handling Certificate.
