Key Responsibilities: Supervise all aspects of F&B outlet operations, including booking management, stock control, POS system updates, reporting, and ensuring opening/closing checklists are completed. Drive exceptional guest service by greeting and seating guests promptly, ensuring timely and accurate service, handling complaints effectively, and encouraging feedback for continuous improvement. Lead by example with a hands-on approach, maintain grooming and service standards, provide daily on-the-job training, support onboarding, cross-training, and assist with recruitment, rostering, and performance management. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and product knowledge; stay updated on menu trends and pairings; and continuously explore new methods to enhance efficiency and service delivery. Foster teamwork within the outlet and across hotel departments, support conferences and events, and keep open communication lines with managers and relevant teams. Promote a positive workplace culture, drive team engagement, and ensure an enjoyable and productive environment for both staff and guests. What You Bring: Experience working in Melbourne’s hospitality scene or similar. Solid understanding of Food & Beverage operations and customer service. A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn and grow. Attention to detail and pride in delivering a great product. Passion for hospitality and sharing knowledge with guests and teammates. A passion for customer service and team development. Tech-savvy with POS systems and basic financial reporting. Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and evenings.
