This role combines hands-on operational HR support with strategic business partnering, playing a key part in shaping the employee experience at Thredbo. As a trusted advisor to leaders, you’ll drive workforce planning, employee relations, compliance, and seasonal recruitment while championing our People & Culture brand, ELEVATE, across the resort. This position is offered as a Fixed Term Maternity Leave Cover. Key Responsibilities Act as a strategic advisor on workforce planning, change management, and performance matters. Coach and support leaders on employee relations, building a culture of trust, inclusion, and accountability. Lead seasonal workforce planning and recruitment, including forecasting staffing needs and supporting hiring managers. Oversee onboarding to ensure a smooth and positive start for all employees. Ensure compliance with HR legislation, safety protocols, and wellbeing practices. Promote and deliver Thredbo’s People & Culture brand, ELEVATE, and drive continuous improvements to the employee experience. Skills & Experience Proven HR/People & Culture experience. Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Professional, approachable, and highly organised. A proactive problem-solver, always eager to tackle challenges head-on.
